UCIDA wins again!

This is a substantial victory. The court has ruled, once again, that UCIDA’s position on salmon management is legitimate and what the NPFMC and the State of Alaska have been doing is illegal. Salmon are a national resource and Federal Law requires that they be managed in the national interest. This ruling vacates the closure of the EEZ in Cook Inlet to commercial salmon fishing.
